"The only way to do chops.”
The Quick Facts...
  • 100% milk-fed veal
  • Raised locally in Ontario and Quebec
  • Approx. 14-16oz each; sold individually
  • Hand cut halal

Get your veal chops just the way us butchers like them: frenched, for presentation and feel. Why milk-fed? Milk is the natural food that young calves eat to grow healthy and strong. It’s what makes these chops so tender and flavourful.

Goes Great With...

A mushroom sauce or mustard crust (mmm…).

Our Preferred Preparation...

You can pan sear, grill, or even roast your rack chops. Roast your chops whole. If you’re going to cook them on the stove, slice the chops between the bones into separate filets for even cooking.

    How It Ships...

Our milk-fed veal frenched rack chops are cut to order, then immediately vacuum sealed at their freshest, before being sent directly to your door.

What Shoppers Like You Are Asking

A heavy pan like cast iron or a hot grill is best for getting a perfect sear, but any sturdy skillet will work. Add tongs and a meat thermometer, and you’re all set to cook a flawless steak.

USDA Prime has the highest level of marbling, which means more tenderness, juiciness, and flavour compared to USDA Choice. It’s the same quality you’ll find served at top steakhouses.

Filet mignon is a specific steak cut from the tenderloin, while tenderloin refers to the larger primal cut that contains it. Both are exceptionally tender, but filet mignon is often considered the most delicate, while the full tenderloin offers more flavour.
