Butcher Shoppe oxtail comes from the tail of the cattle and is cut into 4” thick pieces by our team of expert butchers. Oxtail is rich in collagen and gelatine, which breaks down as it cooks, making for a luscious and silky sauce. While oxtail does take a while to cook, the incredibly rich flavour and tender fall-off-the-bone meat is so worth it!

It has to be low and slow with plenty of liquid, whether that’s in the form of a braise, stew or a set-it-and-forget-it slow cooker.
