Iwate A5 Wagyu

Raised in Japan’s northern prefecture, Iwate Wagyu reflects a harmony between land, lineage, and meticulous craft. The region’s fertile farmland, pure mountain water, and cool climate create ideal conditions for full-blood Kuro-ge Washū cattle, cared for in small herds by dedicated farmers who follow fully traceable, hormone-free, and sustainable practices. Fed a custom diet of local rice, straw, and select grains, the cattle develop the signature “shimofuri” marbling, deep umami, and buttery texture that define authentic Japanese Wagyu.
