"The ultimate centrepiece for your dinner table.”
The Quick Facts...
  • Select from two sizes: an average of 5 lbs or 10 lbs (we typically go by the age-old rule of 1lb per person!)

A Butcher Shoppe rib roast is rich, juicy and tender. We dry age these beautiful bone-in rib roasts in-house for more than thirty days, slowly drawing out the moisture and creating even more flavour and tenderness. You’ll want one of these at the centre of your dinner table!

Goes Great On...

The simple stuff: roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes and some horseradish.

Our Preferred Preparation...

We’re all about the reverse sear, starting low and slow, but finishing hot and fast. It’s a great do-ahead when serving a large cut of meat for a crowd.

How It Ships...

Our dry aged rib roast (bone-in) is cut to order, then immediately vacuum sealed at its freshest, before being sent directly to your door.

What Shoppers Like You Are Asking

A heavy pan like cast iron or a hot grill is best for getting a perfect sear, but any sturdy skillet will work. Add tongs and a meat thermometer, and you’re all set to cook a flawless steak.

USDA Prime has the highest level of marbling, which means more tenderness, juiciness, and flavour compared to USDA Choice. It’s the same quality you’ll find served at top steakhouses.

Filet mignon is a specific steak cut from the tenderloin, while tenderloin refers to the larger primal cut that contains it. Both are exceptionally tender, but filet mignon is often considered the most delicate, while the full tenderloin offers more flavour.
