The Quick Facts...
  • Select from two sizes: an average of 5 lbs or 10 lbs (we typically go by the age-old rule of 1lb per person!)
  • In-depth dry aging process

We often say that Butcher Shoppe ribeye steaks are nicknamed “The King of Steaks”, and our ribeye roast is no exception. It might be the King of Roasts too! Eating a ribeye is a truly special experience. The marbling, the colour, the flavour! Few other cuts of meat combine the tender mouthfeel, rich flavour and visual appeal quite like the ribeye. You need to try this, along with our other dry aged rib roast options like prime rib roasts or a bone-in rib roast.

Goes Great With…

Pairing dry-aged prime ribeye roast with the right accompaniments can create an unforgettable dining experience. Here are some options to consider:

  • Lamb Chops: If you're looking to create a meat lover's feast, the distinctive flavors of lamb chops can complement the rich, beefy taste of a dry-aged prime ribeye roast.
  • Pork Belly: Adding a course of crispy pork belly can introduce a new texture and layer of flavor, making for a diverse and intriguing meal.
  • Roasted Root Vegetables: A side of roasted root vegetables like carrots, parsnips, and potatoes can offer a rustic balance to the richness of the ribeye roast.
  • Garlic Mashed Potatoes: Creamy and flavorful, garlic mashed potatoes can serve as a comforting side that complements the richness of the ribeye roast.
  • Cabernet Sauvignon: To drink, consider a bold red wine like a Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine's robust character and tannins can cut through the richness of the meat, making each bite even more enjoyable.

Our Preferred Preparation..

Preparing dry-aged prime ribeye roast in the right way can bring out its exceptional flavors and tenderness. Plus, try out our signature steak spice for added flavor! Here are two easy recipes for your consideration:

Herb-Crusted Prime Ribeye Roast

Ingredients:

  • 1 dry-aged prime ribeye roast (4-5 lbs)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  • Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
  • In a small bowl, mix the minced garlic, rosemary, thyme, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  • Pat the ribeye roast dry and rub the herb mixture all over it.
  • Place the roast on a rack in a roasting pan.
  • Roast for 15 minutes at 450°F, then reduce the temperature to 350°F (175°C).
  • Continue to roast until the internal temperature reaches 130°F (54°C) for medium-rare, about 1.5 to 2 hours.
  • Let it rest for at least 20 minutes before slicing to serve.

Garlic Butter Basted Prime Ribeye Roast

Ingredients:

  • 1 dry-aged prime ribeye roast (4-5 lbs)
  • 6 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 stick unsalted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Season the ribeye roast generously with salt and pepper.
