Butcher Shoppe flank steak is a relatively long and flat cut that loves a marinade and some high-heat cooking. The result is a tender and deeply flavourful piece of meat that’s perfect for slicing up and tossing in a salad or in some fajitas. Be sure to cut against the grain for ultimate tenderness!
A flavourful marinade. Look for something that includes an acidic component like citrus, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce or soy sauce.
Flank steaks only need about five minutes of cooking per side, so fire up the grill or heat up a cast iron skillet. Remember to let the steak rest for 10 minutes or so before slicing and serving.
