To bring out the best flavor in our Plate Short Ribs, we recommend slow-braising them to maximize tenderness. Start by generously seasoning the ribs with sea salt, pepper, and your favorite herbs or spices.
Sear them on all sides in a hot skillet to create a rich, caramelized crust. Then, transfer the ribs to a Dutch oven or slow cooker, add beef broth, and aromatics like garlic and onions, and braise at 325°F for 2-3 hours until the meat is melt-in-your-mouth tender.
Our Plate short ribs are cut fresh to order, then immediately vacuum-sealed in individual portions and sent directly to your door. When you receive your Plate ribs, make sure to refrigerate them immediately. Vacuum-sealed beef will keep for about ten days in the refrigerator or up to a year in the freezer.
