Flat iron steaks are super popular in Asian cuisine, hence the “sushi steak” moniker. Other people call it the “spider” steak thanks to the eye-popping marbling. Be sure to cut against the grain for ultimate tenderness!
Your favourite green sauce: chimichurri, salsa verde, zhoug or chermoula. It’s up to you.
We recommend that you sear this wagyu flat iron on the BBQ or in a cast-iron skillet on medium-high heat, seasoning simply with high quality salt and fresh cracked pepper.
