Spice up your morning with this bold and satisfying breakfast burger. Featuring a juicy chorizo patty, melty American cheese, creamy guac, and a kick of spicy mayo, all stacked on a toasted English muffin — it’s everything you crave in one fiery, flavour-packed bite.
Directions
Form the ground chorizo into a 4 oz patty, slightly wider than your English muffin (it will shrink slightly when cooked).
Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. Cook the chorizo patty for 3–4 minutes per side, or until fully cooked through with a deep, caramelized crust. During the last 30 seconds, place the slice of cheese on top to melt.
While the patty cooks, toast the English muffin halves in a dry skillet or toaster until golden and slightly crisp. For extra flavor, spread a bit of butter on the cut sides before toasting.
Assemble the Burger
Spread spicy mayo on the bottom half of the toasted muffin.
Place the hot, cheesy chorizo patty on top.
Add a generous spoonful of guacamole.
Cap with the top half of the muffin.
