ITALIAN SAUSAGE STUFFING

Ingredients
- The Butcher Shoppe Italian Sausage
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 4 green apples – diced to 1cm cubes
- 1 medium size brown onion - diced
- 1 fennel bulb - diced
- 1⁄4 cup brown sugar
- 1⁄4 cup apple cider vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Preheat a large fry pan to medium-high
- Add oil and sausage. As the meat starts to fry, begin breaking into pieces
- After 5 minutes, add apples, onion and fennel. Fry for a further 5 minutes. Stirring constantly
- Add sugar and apple cider vinegar, stirring until mixed through
- Reduce heat to low-medium and allow to cook for a further 30 minutes. Stirring every few minutes
- TIP — If the mix looks like it is drying out, add water as you go
- Season with salt and pepper to taste
