PANCETTA ROASTED BRUSSELS SPROUT

Ingredients

300g The Butcher Shoppe pancetta – Diced

500g brussels sprout
-
1 tablespoon plain flour
-
355ml beer (any type is fine)

Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Preheat a large fry pan to medium-high
Add pancetta and fry until fat has rendered and pancetta is crispy
Remove pancetta from frypan and turn heat up to high
Add brussels sprout and allow to sear before moving in the pan (2-3 minutes)
Brussels will begin to char in parts and become bright green, when this happens, return pancetta to pan, add flour and stir through and finally add the can
of beerReduce heat to low-medium and continue cooking for a further 10 minutes
Season with salt and pepper to taste
