The Quick Facts on Ground Chuck
- Canadian AAA ground chuck
- Naturally raised
- Free from added hormones
Made from AAA Canadian-raised beef without the use of hormones or antibiotics, our ground chuck is cut from select muscles in the shoulder. This is what gives our chuck that perfect fat-to-lean ratio, making it perfect for burgers, meatballs, or any dish calling for ground beef.
Goes Great With...
Ground chuck goes with almost any dish that calls for ground beef, especially chili, hamburger mac, and baked ziti. There are differences between ground chuck vs. ground beef, but ground chuck works great in these meals as it often has a richer, beefier flavor.
Additionally, you can pair ground chuck with our thick sliced bacon for a delicious bacon burger, and even blend the ground chuck with our ground pork or ground turkey to prevent dryness and boost the flavor.
Our Preferred Preparation for Ground Chuck
Here’s our trick: when making your burger patties by hand, add in some crumbled bleu cheese. Thank us later!
Another great way to prepare our ground chuck is to form it into small balls and add all of your favorite seasonings for meatballs that will impress everyone in the family. You can even prepare it just like you would for meatballs, but shape it a little bigger and toss it in the oven to enjoy a simple Salisbury steak dinner.
How It Ships...
If you’re wondering where to buy ground chuck in Southern Ontario, look no further than our butcher shop. Our ground chuck is cut and ground by hand at our Toronto butcher shop, immediately vacuum-sealed at its freshest, and then sent to your door. Soon enough, our 1-pound servings of ground chuck will arrive and be ready to be devoured or stored in the freezer for a later meal.
