The LaFrieda Story.....

The LaFrieda story began in 1900, with a family butcher shop in New York and more than a century of knowledge passed from one generation to the next. Built on care, precision, and respect for the craft, the family’s reputation grew without losing the hands-on standards that shaped it from the beginning.

In 1994, Pat LaFrieda left Wall Street to return to the family business and carry that legacy forward. Today, every cut reflects generations of experience and a commitment to doing things properly, making a Pat LaFrieda tomahawk more than just a steak, but the centrepiece of a meal worth remembering.

At The Butcher Shoppe, we share the same belief that great meat starts with great sourcing, expert knowledge, and a genuine passion for the craft.

We partnered with Pat LaFrieda to bring you a limited run of his signature engraved tomahawks, directly from New York. The engraving process is a closely guarded secret, and each steak will feature either The Butcher Shoppe or LaFrieda Meat Purveyors. Only a small quantity are coming in, making this a rare chance to enjoy of these exclusive tomahawks.
